Visit the temple on Doi Suthep with panoramic views on the mountain. Doi Suthep is the best known for Wat Phra That Di Suthep and the golden pagoda that shrines against the sun. Inside there is a marvellous copper-plated pagoda topped by a five-tier gold umbrella which consists of partial relics of Lord Buddha. Also, visit the hill tribe village of “Meo” and the museum exhibiting about their history and life styles. There are several groups of Meo Hill tribes but the white and Blue Meos are the largest groups. These groups are distinguished by their costumes. The White Meos wear black costumes.
